Before You Get Started
Downloadable materials are free and there are no late fees. You need a valid LBPL card in good standing. Your library card number/barcode is on the back of your card. Enter this number with no spaces. You also need a PIN, usually a four digit number you chose when you signed up for a library card. If you can't remember your PIN, come into any of our twelve libraries to choose a new PIN. 

eBooks
	OverDrive provides access to thousands of free downloadable eBooks available in Kindle eBook, Adobe EPUB, and Adobe PDF formats. Visit OverDrive Help for a tour, videos, and FAQ.
	Books24x7 (Coming Soon) provides on-demand access to thousands of premium books covering information technology, business and well-being in a fully searchable, web-based environment. Books24x7 Tour.
	Gale Virtual Reference Library is a custom collection of reference books available online 24/7. No special readers or software required.

 

Audiobooks
	OverDrive provides access to thousands of free downloadable audiobooks in WMA and MP3 format. Visit OverDrive Help for a tour, videos, and FAQ.
	AudioBookCloud is an online collection of streaming audiobooks. Fiction, nonfiction, classics, and Spanish language. K-Adult.

Music
	Freegal provides access to an extensive catalog of songs. Library card holders can download up to 3 songs per week. These MP3 format songs are free, legal, and yours to keep.

Apps
	LBPL Mobile lets you search the library's collections, place holds, manage your account, and discover new materials. The app is available free for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and more.
	OverDrive lets you download eBooks and audiobooks directly to your smartphone or tablet. The app is available free for iOS, Android, and more.
	Mango Languages gives you access to language learning on the go with 34 foreign language courses and 14 ESL courses. The app is available free for iOS and Android.
