Free Wireless @ Your Library
The Long Beach Public Library now provides free wireless Internet access for customers at five locations: Main Library, North, Dana, Harte and Mark Twain.

Wireless allows library users to bring their own laptop computers or PDAs to the library and to get Internet access throughout the building by signing in with their library card number.

The library does not provide wireless cards so patrons will need to bring computers that have built-in WiFI or will need to install a WiFi network card. In addition, there are currently no printing services available to wireless users.

Library staff is not able to provide technical assistance for your computer and cannot guarantee that you will be able to make a wireless connection. It is solely the responsibility of the wireless device owner/user to provide anti-virus protections, and to configure their laptop/PDA security settings. The Long Beach Public Library cannot take responsibility for damages incurred for incorrect, insufficient or incomplete security settings; or lack of adequate or up-to-date virus protection.
