BARK is Back at Bach

Children of all ages are invited to read to BARK's certified therapy dogs every first Saturday of the month at 11:00AM at the Bach Library. Research shows that reading to friendly, non-judgmental dogs can increase reading skills and self-confidence. And it's FUN!

Beach Animals Reading With Kids (BARK) dogs want to hear you read every first Saturday of the month at 11:00AM. Founded in 2007, BARK is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to increase their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.
