What's in The Studio at the Main Library? 3 MakerBot 3D printers, 1 Lulzbot Taz 6 3D printer, 1 Airwolf 3D printer, 1 AXIOM DUAL Extruder 3D printer, 1 Ultimaker 2 Go 3D printer, 2 iMac and 2 Dell desktop computers with Adobe Creative Suite 6, SketchUp 2014, Final Cut Pro X and many more programs available for public use. Computer reservations are available up to 7 days in advance by visiting The Studio.
PADnet The Studio is also a satellite location for PADnet (Public Access Digital Network) members. For more information on becoming a member, visit their website.
The Studio at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library
What's in The Studio at the Michelle Obama Library? 2 Lulzbot Taz 6 3D printers, 2 Matter and Form 3D Scanners, 1 3Doodler, 1 silhouette curio, 1 silhouette mint, 2 Dremels, 4 iPad Pros, 2 iMac and 14 Dell desktop computers. We also have 15 Dell laptop computers with Adobe Creative Suite 6 that are available for use in The Studio.
We are excited to announce the launch of our newest service - The Mobile Studio to the Long Beach community.
Catch the Mobile Studio at your local library branch. Studio classes and workshops, such as computer coding, illustration, 3D design, and printing and robotics will now be available at all 12 library branch locations on a rotating monthly schedule. We hope to see you at these events!
